My underwater photographs are now on the website!

I have had a bond with underwater ever since I can remember. I don't recall an age when I did not have a diving mask and fins. I started scuba diving in 1977 in the freezing waters of New England. I got my first waterproof professional underwater camera, a Nikonos V, in 1985. Photographing the magical underwater world has always been a passion of mine. I have dived in the colorful underwater heavens of the Red Sea, Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands for the sole purpose of photography. I share with you my favorite underwater images that I shot over the years in the underwater gallery on my website. I hope you like them, too and look forward to your comments...

Titan TriggerfishTitan TriggerfishThe titan triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens), a blue spotted red coral hind (Cephalopholis miniata) and tiny scalefin anthias (Anthias squamipinnis) are at home in a literal garden of corals at the Brother Islands in the Red Sea.

My son Murat has been diving since he was 10. He has been my dive buddy in many of our underwater adventures and is now a PADI scuba diving instructor based in Kaş, Turkey:

This following great image in the gallery is of a western clown anemonefish (Amphiprion ocellaris) which is the real life version of the famous animation character Nemo. It is photographed in Kapalai Island, Malaysia by Murat:
